Undesirable behavior and discrimination
Lokaal Vastgoedbeheer actively participates in consultations and initiatives aimed at preventing discrimination in the housing market. Any form of undesirable behavior is rejected. Discrimination based on religion, ethnic origin, disability, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation is not tolerated. Verbal or physical discrimination, intimidation, aggression, bullying, abuse, and threats are prohibited within the organization and in its relationships with third parties. If there is (suspected) undesirable or discriminatory behavior, the person in question will be addressed and appropriate measures can be taken. Undesirable behavior is assessed based on the impact on the person involved, not solely on the intention of the person acting.
Rental Terms and Allocation
Lokaal Vastgoedbeheer's full rental offering is published on the website. The same, primarily financial, rental terms apply to all (prospective) tenants. Waiting lists are not used for the allocation of rental properties. Depending on the nature, intended use, and location of certain residential complexes, an age criterion may be applied (such as 55+ or 65+). To assess a prospective tenant's financial capacity, original income information from an employer, benefits agency, or pension provider may be required. If insufficient income is available or the required information is not provided, a request for a viewing with a view to renting out a property may be rejected without further explanation. ​
